Profile
Looking for a high torque electric motor for parallel hybrid heavy duty special vehicles
What we offer:
Performance and acceleration temporary improvements is one main request of heavy duty special and defence vehicles customers. According environmental care needs and technology opportunity, request could be satisfied by adding one electric motor in parallel to the existing thermal engine. This solution, covered by a patent, allows to have some important advantages:
• Use of standard NP engine
• Important temporary acceleration improvement
• No major change on drive train lay out
• No fuel consumption and pollution increase
• Improved “engine brake” effort
• Hybrid mode functionality capability
Available hybrid system industrial components doesn’t comply this specific application in terms of electric motor torque or dimensions.
