Profile

New unconventional concept of combustion explosion engine

What we offer:
An inventor from Pilsen has developed a more efficient concept of combustion explosion engine for use as engine for UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) or power unit for UL (Ultra Light) and ML (Micro Light) aircrafts, cars, motorcycles and others.
The subject is the concept of a new combustion explosion engine with 1 TD cycle per 1 turn without a device for content exchange of working chambers. The sealing is exclusively the type surface – surface. The technology VCR (Variable Compression Ratio) and application of the Miller TD Cycle of the type LI(v)C (Last Intake (no valve) Closing) reduce together consumption at up to 30-40 % because of the partial loading and reduce the CO2 and NOx emissions at the same time.

Technology:

- VCR (Variable compression ratio) – independent, independently and continually adjustable/controllable during running
- Miller TD cycle - independent, independently and continually adjustable/controllable during running

What are we looking for:
Comments
- Type of partner sought: Industry, laboratories, research groups.
- Specific area of activity of the partner: Companies producing engines for unmanned aerial vehicles, UL and ML aircrafts, cars, motorcycles and others.
- Task to be performed: Producing the prototype and organize testing. Industrial production.

Innovations and advantages of the offer
- Considerably higher TD efficiency
- Efficient running especially under partial loading
- Reduction of CO2 and NOx emissions
- Excellent ratio load/weight
- Small number of parts
- Undemanding sealing
- Simple, undemanding production

Keywords:
- Powertrain Technology
- Efficient production and operation of vehicles and components
- Vehicle design and development

Collaboration sought:
Technical Co-operation

Profile

Device for adjustment of combustion explosion engine for reduction of CO2 emissions

What we offer:
An inventor from Pilsen has developed a device for adjustment of combustion explosion engine for reduction of CO2 emissions for use in the new combustion explosion engines.
An original mechanism is installed on the greater eye of connecting rod of a combustion explosion engine. The hydraulically or mechanically controlled mechanism sets up the effective length of connecting rod for each cylinder individually. For actual engine load it is possible to adjust length of connecting rod according to the optimal compression ratio (VCR technology - Variable Compression Ratio). In this way it is possible to achieve reduction of fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, especially under partial engine load.

Innovations and advantages:

- Simple construction
- Effective service, especially under partial engine load
- Reduction of CO2 emissions
- Elimination of parasitic forces and moments that is common for similar solutions
- Small number of parts
- Simple, undemanding production
